Happy Ramadan to all my lovely readers! How's the month going for you? I hope all is well.

 I went to a gathering my friend hosted during this month and I decided to share how I got ready for this event makeup, outfit, and even my choice of perfume.

رمضان كريم لكل قارئات مدونتي الجميلات ! كيف الشهر معاكم؟ إن شاء الله كان شهر خير وانجزتوا فيه. 

رحت لجمعة صديقاتي خلال هالشهر وقررت أشارككم كيف تجهزت (مكياج ، لبس ، وحتى اختياري للعطر) 

مكياج \\ Makeup

Prior to starting, I apologise for the mess of choices. I picked up whatever I saw in my drawers and the look I ended up with was the result of my experimentation, regardless I love it. 

The look is a subtle brown and burgundy smokey eye paired with glowing skin and a dark neutral lip (can't think of a sensible name so a vague description will do)

قبل لا أبدأ اعتذر على الحوسة في الاختيار ، إلي شفته في دروجي سحبته واستخدمته ونتيجة التجربة هذه هو المكياج إلي بويركم هو الحين ، بغض النظر عن ذلك ، حبيته. 

 اسميه سموكي بني وعنابي مع إضاءة وروج غامق (الاسم ما يعطيه حقه بس تعبت وأنا أحاول اسميه) 

الأساس - Base

 

Starting with my beloved Nivea Aftershave on my whole face and sweeping a bit on my eyes, I also applied lip balm to my lips (go to the lips section to see the lip balm I used)

ابدأ بالحب ، بلسم ما بعد الحلاقة من نيفيا على كل وجهي وشوي مرة مرة على عيني (ما تبقى يعني) وحطيت مرطب على شفايفي. 

(مكتوب اسمه في قسم الشفايف في هذه التدوينة)

I usually only use concealer or something with light coverage (tinted moisturiser or bb cream, my skin doesn't agree with foundations) , this time I only used concealer and corrector. 

So for my corrector I went with the Laura Mercier Undercover Pot (my shade is UC-3)  using the Creme Color Laura Mercier brush to apply it on my undereyes and dark spots and the micro mini beauty blender to blend it out. 

بالعادة استعمل بس كونسيلر أو شي بتغطية خفيفة مثل بيبي كريم (ما ارتاح بالفاونديشن) ، هالمرة بس استعملت كونسيلر وكوريكتر . الكوريكتر ماركته لورا مرسييه (يجي مع كونسيلر وبودرة، درجتي فيه حطيتها بين قوسين في الكلام الانجليزي) وزعت الكوريكتر بفرشة لورا ميرسييه تحت عيوني وعلى الأماكن الغامقة  ودمجته بالبيوتي بلندر الميني

I used my new love , the UD Naked Skin concealer (my shade is Medium-Neutral) under my eyes and swept a bit on my lids to neutralise them. I also used it on and around my nose and on the corners of my mouth , also over the dark spots and other blemishes. I then blended it out with the micro mini beauty blender and set the concealer with the Laura Mercier Camouflage Powder that came in the Undercover Pot using the Laura Mercier Camoflague Powder Brush. 

استعملت حبي الجديد ، كونسيلر اربن ديكاي (الدرجة بين القوسين في الكلام الانجليزي) تحت العين وشوي على الجفن وعلى الخشم وزواياه وعلى زوايا الفم، وحتى على الأماكن الغامقة والحبوب . دمجته بالبيوتي بلندر الميني وثبت الكونسيلر بباود باستعمال فرشة لورا ميرسييه الخاصة بذي الباودر. 

حواجب - Eyebrows

 

The only thing that never changes in my makeup routine is how I do them, I have thick and dark brows but they do have a few gaps so I use powder to shape them.

I use the color Sexpresso to shape them using an angled brush (I use the MAC 266 or the EcoTools one from the duo) and Cashmere Bunny for the front of them. I combed them out with a spolee to blend everything out.

الشي الوحيد إلي ما يتغير في مكياجي هو روتيني مع حواجبي . حواجبي غامقة وكثيفة بس فيهم فراغات فاستعمل الباودر عشان ارتبهم.  استعمل اللون الغامق الي في الصورة مع فرشة مشطوفة (استعمل يا ماك 266 أو هذه من إيكو تولز إلي تجي مع فرشة ثانية ) واللون الأفتح إلي جنبه عشان مقدمة الحاجب. استعملت فرشة المسكرا (نظيفة) كمشط حواجب عشان ادمج كل شب 

Eyes - عيون

 

Here is where the mess happened. 

هنا الحوسة صارت

 

I first used the medium color of the Sleek contour kit as an all over lid color

أول شي أخذت اللون المتوسط من كونتور سليك واستعملته على الجفن المتحرك

 

Then I went with Buck from the first Naked palette for the crease (using the UD eye brush) and I smoked it out using the Mac 217. I also made sure to sweep the crease color out in a slight angle.

بعدين أخذت اللون الموضح من باليت نيكد الأول وحطيته في كسرة العين (استعملت فرشة أربن ديكاي) وخليته سموكي بدمجه بفرشة ماك 217 وسحبت اللون برا العين شوي. 

I then , with the same crease brush, added the burgundy color to the outer v (a bit into the crease) and went it, again, with the Mac 217 and blended it in. I did the same with the crease color here.

بعدها أخذت اللون العنابي من باليت ذا بالم وحطيته في الجزء الخارجي من العين على شكل الرقم 7 (ما قدرت اكتب الحرف) وشوي في الكسرة . بعدين بفرشة ماك 217 دمجته وسحبته على برا. 

 

I went in with the lid brush for a second time to add the contour color to my lower lashline and the burgundy on the very end of the lower lash line, I blended it out with the Mac 217 (can you tell I love this brush?) 

أخذت الفرشة إلي استعملته للجفن المتحرك وحطيت لون الكونتور في خط الرموش السفلي والعنابي في حافة الخط نفسه . دمجها بماك 217 (أبد ما أحب الفرشة صح؟ ههه) 

 

Finally I used this Real Techniques eyeliner brush to add Thunderstruck by Kat Von D to my inner corners and a bit in the inner part of my lower lash line 

وآخر شي أضفت هذا اللون من كات فون دي لمدمع العين والجزء الداخلي من خط الرموش السفلي.

I didn't use eyeliner , I just smudged a bit of the burgundy on the upper lashline and swept it out in an angle. 

ما استعملت آيلاينر ، بس أضفت عنابي شوي ودمجته وسحبته. 

 

For my lashes I layered my two favourites mascaras (I used both settings for the Twist Up the Volume one, each for a coat) , I also used the Sephora one for my lower lashes.

 I don't like falsies and I never wear them.

وبالنسبة للرموش استعملت أحلى ماسكرتين عندي ، طبفتين من برجوا (طبقة تكثيف وطبقة تطويل) وطبقة من سيفورا (أركز على نهاية الرموش بها) وبعد استعملت حقت سيفورا للرموش السفلية. ما أركب رموش أبد ولا أحبهم. 

الوجه - Face

 

For my contour/bronzer I used the Bahama Mama from the Balm palette, and I used the Elf ultimate blending brush. 

للبرونزر\كونتور استعملت باهاما ماما من ذابالم ، الفرشة إلي استعملتها من إيلف. 

I used this limited edition Mac Blush I got a few years back using the Real Techniques blush brush. A pretty mix between peach and pink (leans more pink)

استعملت بلشر كان إصدار محدود في ماك مع فرشة ريل تكنيكس حقت البلشر. لونه بين المشمشي والوردي

For highlight I used the Thunderstruck eyeshadow in conjunction with this very old GOSH blush brush. I sprayed my face with facial mist then applied the color to the high points of the face (the wetness exaggerates the highlight)

للإضاءة استعملت الشادو إلي ذكرته قبل حق كات فون دي مع فرشة قديمة حقت بلشر من ماركة قوش. بخيت على وجهي بخاخ شبيه بالفكس بلس (ما أدري وش اسميه غير كذا ) ووقت ما يزال وجهي فيه رطب حطيت الإضاءة في الأماكن إلي أبغا أبرزها. (ما غرقت وجهي في البخاخ بس حطيت شوي عشان هذه الرطوبة تقوي الإضاءة) 

 

The final two steps is applying my Too Faced Finishing powders (I explain it all in this blogpost) and another sprtiz of the Body Shop Vitamin C facial mist 

أخر خطوتين هي بودرات تووفيسد (تكلمت عنها هنا) وبخة من بخاخ فيتامين سي من ذا بودي شوب عشان يندمج كل شي. 

 

Lips-شفايف

 

Before the final two steps, I used my lip products. Which are the EOS mint lip balm that I mentioned applying in the beginning. Then lining and filling in my lips with Mac's Spice lip liner, finally my lipstick of choice which is the Viva Glam III by Mac

قبل آخر خطوتين ، استعملت منتجات الشفايف إلي اخترتها. وهم مرطب إس أو إس بالنعناع (ذكرته في بداية التدوينة) وبعدين حددت وعبيت شفايفي بمحدد سبايس من ماك ، وأخر شي اختياري للروج هالمرة هو فيفا جلام ٣ من ماك 

Hair// شعر

 

I just scrunched it with a Sunsilk styling cream, nothing special.

بس جعدته بكريم من صانسيلك  .

Outfit // الملابس

 

Since its Ramadan I wore a Jalabiya , this is one I borrowed from my mother and I have no clue where she got it from. 

لأنه رمضان لبست جلابية ، استعرت هذه من أمي ولا أدري من وين شرتها. 

I wore these shoes from Mystique that I got a long time ago , I still like them though.

لبست هالجزمة (الله يكرمكم ) من ماركة مستيك (شريتها من زمان بس ما أزال أحبها) 

My accessories are the same ones I wore regularly , staple pieces I wear with everything so I don't think its important to add (but I wanted to say that I did wear accessories, lol) 

اكسسواراتي نفس إلي ألبسها دايم، ما حست مهم أضيفها لأنها أشياء ألبسها مع كل شي (بس حبيت أذكر إني لبست أكسسوارات مع هذا اللبس ، ههه) 

Perfume // عطر

 

Jo Malone Amber and Patchouli perfume, it lasts strongly for a while then lingers lightly (definitely long-wearing) , it smells rich and elegant, so I thought it was befitting such an occasion.

عطر جو مالون بالعنبر و الباتشولي ، يدوم فترة وهو قوي بعدين يصير أخف (اعتبره عطر يدوم لفترة طويلة) ، ريحته قوية وفخمة فحسيته مناسب لمناسبة زي ذي.
